Clay, glaze, and kiln firing is included in the cost of the course. Students are welcome to stay for 30 minutes of additional practice time after class each until 8:30pm.
This beginner wheel throwing course will cover all the steps in the process of making pottery on the wheel. The focus will be on learning the basic techniques of throwing, trimming, and glazing. The class is geared toward students with little to no experience.
Aaron Zeleske is a potter whose work showcases textures, relying on either the natural qualities of clay or individually stamped impressions. He has had an active ceramics practice since 2018.
