We're Hiring Ceramics Instructors

Tooth + Nail Studio & Gallery is growing, and we're currently accepting applications for additional ceramics instructors.

We're looking for experienced teaching artists who are passionate about helping others discover the joy of working with clay. Whether you specialize in wheel throwing, handbuilding, or both, we want instructors who value process over perfection and believe creativity flourishes in supportive community.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience teaching art or ceramics to adults, youth, or both.

• An active personal art practice.

• Experience working in a shared studio environment.

• A warm, welcoming, and inclusive teaching style that helps students feel safe, encouraged, and confident in their creativity.

• Alignment with Tooth + Nail's values as an artist-centered, inclusive space that prioritizes equity, anti-racism, queer inclusion, accessibility, and respect for working artists.

• Reliability, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a positive, growth-minded attitude.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.
