  • One Night Wheel Throwing

This is a one-time class is for beginner potters, no experience required. Students will learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel and create at least one pot. At the end of class, students will choose up to 2 of the pieces they created to be glazed and fired by the studio and can pick up their work 2-3 weeks after class.

  • Build it.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • Grow it.

  • The culture is such a welcoming and encouraging community of people that celebrate everybody’s wins, I truly can’t recommend this place enough.

Lauren, a beginner wheel throwing student

  • T&N is a place of good. You can feel it energetically the moment you walk in. Everyone is on the same page: supportive, kind, committed to one another’s safety, communal joy and creative expression. I’ve never found a studio that feels so much like a community, a home of friends and friends-to-be. So, so much more than kilns & clinics (though both are present and excellent!); this is a space that fills your cup and I’m so grateful for it.

    Alex, frequent workshop participant

  • Highly recommend this space to those who are curious about ceramics and especially for those looking for a creative community to get plugged in with.

    Emma Mae, Ceramics Member

  • Welcoming and creative space filled with friendly and helpful people (and an excellent playlist). Great place to learn or practice your skills and hang out with your neighbors.

Greg, a beginner wheel throwing student

  • Tooth and Nail is incredible- wonderful workshops, amazing artists talks and a core part of the creative community in Milwaukee!

    Nora, a guest workshop instructor

  • Rented the space and painting supplies for a group of 11. We had a blast in the beautiful studio. Janelle was so helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend.

    Rachel, recent private event client

  • Love this studio as both an artist and a community member. The owner is an artist herself and is clearly invested in the space-it’s beautiful and stacked with a calendar of interesting and accessible events. The building is accessible (upon request w an email or DM). LGBT-welcoming.
