We hope you will join us in celebrating our studio manager Kira Straub before they move away.

After more than two years at Tooth & Nail, our Studio Manager, Kira, is heading to Florida to begin a year-long artist residency at the Morean Center for Clay.

Kira joined us as an intern in January 2024, back when Tooth & Nail had just opened its doors. They quickly became an essential part of our team, helping shape the studio into the creative community it is today. From welcoming first-time students to keeping the studio running day after day, Kira has left a lasting mark on this place and the people in it.

We'll be celebrating with an exhibition of Kira's ceramic work, an art sale, and plenty of time to gather with friends, students, and community members before they head off on their next adventure.
