Previous ceramic experience is required for our Skills Clinic Series.

Struggling with getting the most out of your clay? This one-time workshop will help you pull those walls up to make uniform cylinders. Structured like a bootcamp, we’ll go through each step of making the cylinder to focus in on how to get clay out of the bottom corner, do a couple of timed throwing rounds and talk about why mastering the fundamentals matter. 

This class is meant to help develop your foundational skill set so, a forewarning, we’ll be cutting everything we make in half to really see the relationship between the hands and pot. Hopefully at the end of the workshop, you’ll feel more in control of the pot and confident in developing your throwing technique.

Participants should have taken a Level 1 or 2 throwing class.
