Four Day Kids Camp - Hand Building Basics with Kira Straub
Four consecutive days, 9am-12pm, Monday through Thursday August 4th - 7th at Tooth and Nail Studio 2018 S 1st Street Suite 308, Milwaukee
For ages 8-17
In this four day camp students will have fun learning the basics of handbuilding with clay. Through a new engaging project each day, students will learn how to make pinch pots, build bigger forms using coils, use clays slabs to make creative shapes, and sculpt. Over four days, students will learn about the different stages clay goes through as it becomes ceramic, and use their new knowledge to paint and decorate their work using slip and glaze. Students will walk away with a new love for all things ceramic, and all the knowledge they need to work with clay. Class is designed for beginners, no experience necessary.
