Ceramic Monsters with Emily Schamburek- June 23rd
June 23rd 6-8pm at Tooth and Nail Studio 2018 S 1st Street Suite 308.
Unleash your imagination and get your hands dirty in this fun, family-friendly ceramics workshop in which we create our very own one-of-a-kind clay monsters. Whether silly, spooky, or sweet, each monster will come to life through guided instruction on basic hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and attaching.
Once sculpted, you’ll have time to decorate your creature with colorful underglazes, textures, and creative flair. No prior clay experience needed—just bring your sense of play and a willingness to get messy!
Appropriate for beginners or those with some experience, adults as well as kids ages 8 and up. (Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult each with their own ticket to participate)
Finished pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks. Perfect for a creative family outing, a memorable bonding activity, or a break from the ordinary.
All materials included. Spaces are limited—register early to reserve your spot!
Emily Schamburek is a potter who work is inspired by nature and colors that bring pops of joy to everyday life. When she is not working with clay she is a nanny for two young boys.
