Four Week Course - Intermediate Wheel Throwing - October

$265.00

Four consecutive Thursday Nights 6-8pm, October 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

At Tooth + Nail Studio 2018 S 1st Street Suite 308, Milwaukee WI

All clay, glazes, tools, and firing fees are included in the cost of the class. In this intermediate course, we’ll continue to build on skills learned in the beginner class and focus on making more intentional forms beyond the cylinder. Bowls, vase shapes, and handle attaching will be covered. This class will operate more flexibly than the beginner course and specific topics may be adjusted due to class preference and student skill level. Beginner course or previous wheel throwing experience (i.e. throwing and trimming a basic cylinder with minimal assistance) is required.

Shelby Page is a potter whose work is rooted in the intersection of form and function, creating high-quality, timeless pieces that serve a purpose and are meant to last. Her teaching follows the same principles and focuses on thoughtful and intentional making to build skills.

One free open studio session during the month of the class is included so that students can practice or complete extra work. Once this four week course is completed, students are eligible to work in T+N’s studio independently during future open studio hours.

Registration is not refundable or exchangeable less than 14 days before the start date of the class. Also, missed classes cannot be made up.

If you would like to be added to the waitlist for an already sold out date, select the date in the drop down box and add your email address to the waitlist box. You will receive an email if a spot opens up.
